Gas Processing is an active piece in ensuring that natural gas is clean and pure.  Oil and natural gas are often found together in the same reservoir. Natural gas processing occurs at the oil head. Natural gas processing plants purify raw natural gas by removing common contaminants such as water, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide. Gas separation can be accomplished by many methods.  One method is by cryogenically processing the gas. This method is accomplished by means of a mechanical refrigeration unit. This is where natural gas is cooled to sub-zero temperatures in order to condense liquids or NGLs (natural gas liquids such as butane, ethane and propane).

Having reliable equipment at gas processing facilities is extremely important for several reasons. Impurities in raw natural gas, like water, can damage pipelines If natural gas is not processed correctly, it does not burn efficiently which is harmful to the environment.

Although Krack Commercial Products does not manufacture the complete mechanical refrigeration processing plants for these gas filtration methods, many of our products will complement the OEM manufactured product.
